How Bidding Works
A simple step-by-step guide to bidding, winning, and getting your product
The Bidding Process
Follow these steps to place a bid and win
Add Money to Your Wallet
Before you can bid, add funds to your Bidhid wallet. This balance is used to pay the processing charge whenever you place a bid.
Choose a Product
Browse live products in our catalog and pick the one you want to bid on.
Pay the Processing Charge
Every single bid you place has a small processing charge. This amount is automatically deducted from your wallet each time you bid — win or lose, this charge is not refunded.
Place Your Bid Amount
Enter the amount you want to bid on the product. You can bid as many times as you like — but remember, each attempt costs the processing charge again.
Wait for Bidding to Close
Once the bidding window ends, our system checks all bids placed on that product to find the winner.
Lowest Unique Bid Wins
The system finds the lowest bid amount that was placed by only one user (a "unique" bid). That user wins the product — see the example below for full clarity.
Get Your Product Delivered
If you win, the product is shipped directly to the address saved on your account. No further payment is needed for the product itself.
What Does "Lowest Unique Bid" Mean?
The most important rule to understand before you bid
A bid is "unique" only if no other user placed the exact same amount. If two or more users bid the same number, that number is cancelled out and cannot win — even if it is the lowest amount on the table. The winner is whoever placed the lowest amount that nobody else matched.
Example
Suppose 3 users bid on the same product:
| User | Bid Amount | Is it Unique? | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| User A | ₹2 | No — matched by User B | Not eligible |
| User B | ₹2 | No — matched by User A | Not eligible |
| User C | ₹3 | Yes — no one else bid ₹3 | 🏆 Winner |
Even though ₹2 is lower than ₹3, it was bid by two users, so it doesn't count. Since ₹3 was the lowest amount bid by only one person, User C wins the product.
Processing Charge
A small fee is deducted from your wallet every time you place a bid — whether you win or not. This covers the cost of processing each bid on the platform.
Bid as Many Times
You can place multiple bids on the same product to improve your chances, but each bid will deduct the processing charge from your wallet separately.
Delivery to Winner
Once a winner is decided, the product is dispatched to the address registered on their account. Keep your address updated in your profile.
Fair for Everyone
Since the winner is decided by the lowest unique bid, this isn't about who bids the least — it's about smart, non-repeated guessing.
